Singaporeans all around like to go to I.T. fairs to get their electronics due to the freebies, discounts and lucky dips. Unfortunately for one guy, Max, happened across a store selling laptops at a higher price. And not only that, he also bought the Microsoft Office package from them, which turned out to be pieces of paper with an unauthentic product key.

Max then proceeded to talk about his experience on Singapore Facebook Group, Complaint Singapore. Other netizens in the group also commented on the post talking about their bad experiences and how they are getting scammed by the same company. Further research by Max showed that the company has a history of scamming people.

Some other reviews he found:

Who knew that you can get scammed at an I.T. show too?

Thankfully, Max told Legit Singapore that he has managed to get a refund.
