A customer was mortified to see that eggs that she bought from NTUC FairPrice's online platform contained maggots.
Her purchases were delivered on 11 July. This was when she noticed that the plastic containing the eggs were wet. She however attributed this to the other frozen items.
It was only when she opened the bag that the stenched hit her and she realied that the white things were maggots. This made her feel like vomitting.
The customer has already lodged a complaint with NTUC FairPrice but is sharing her experience for the benefit of others.
Be careful when making perishable purchases, ensure that they are in good condition or are not past the expiry date.
